This 25-year-old debate was initiated by a controversial study published in March 1995 in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJO-DO) on the topic of orthodontic gnathology, based on the Roth Gnathology Philosophy. Dr. Roth wrote a "Point" article supporting the paper, and Dr. Rinchuse offered a "Counterpoint" treatise that detailed the various limitations of the study and paper. This book is a compilation of all current evidence present on TMDs and Orthodontic Gnathology.
