The book gives an overview of protozoa, helminths, ticks and mites that are commonly encountered in Camels during routine examination of blood,gastrointestinal contents and the skin. The parasites are presented in coloured pictures to guide the reader. A section of the book also provide an insight into the pathogenesis of Haemonchus longistipes of Camel origin in experimentally infected Yankasa sheep. Suggestions and recommendations are also given on how to control the spread of these parasites among herdsmen and other livestock.
