Kate McMurray est une fan et une auteure primée de romances. Quand elle n'est pas en train d'écrire, elle travaille en tant qu'éditrice de non-fiction, s'essaie à différents métiers et est peut-être un petit peu obsédée par le base-ball. Elle est active au sein de l'association Romance Writers of America et a officié en tant que présidente des Rainbow Romance Writers et à la commission de la RWANYC. Elle vit à New York, dans le quartier de Brooklyn.
