Über den Autor
Paul Morris is a lecturer at Mälardalens University in Sweden. As a socialist, originating from the UK, he has been involved with a number of campaigns since his teenage years, from the Anti-Margaret Thatcher's Poll Tax fight to building international solidarity with the struggle against Apartheid in South Africa. His interest in Israel/Palestine is long standing; he spoke at a UK Labour Party Young Socialists' summer camp on the issue during the first Intifada (uprising) of the early nineties. He has been Deputy President of Salford University Students' Union, a member of the National Committee of Labour Students, President of the National Union of Teachers (Bedfordshire), has jointly authored a book about teacher pay, and currently helps lead his local autistic rights organisation.

This thesis, examining the Treatise of Garcia of Toledo, explores the connection between the legend of Cockaigne and its connection with the powerful monastic foundation of Cluny. The Treatise was written as a condemnation of Cluniac influence in 11th and 12th century Spain.
