Developmental Perspectives on Craniofacial Problems presents a developmental approach to psychological research on craniofacial anomalies. Craniofacial anomalies represent one of the most commonly occurring birth defects, and although recent surgical advances have been substantial, little has changed in over forty years with regard to the assumption that facial disfigurement must result in psychological problems.
