A graduate of the University of Michigan, Jo O'Connor has combined her education and her love of animals to present a collection of animal stories that will captivate all children. As a previous biology teacher for 20 years, she would actually bring animals, such as snakes, monkeys, turtles, etc., to class to teach the children about the wonders of the animal world. Within her stories are actual facts which lend toward the educational aspect of the tales. As a grandmother she is amazingly in touch with children and their desires and needs. Her goal is to present "Animals, Animals, Animals" to all children as well as her descendants.
Phyllis Meyers has been writing since she was nine years old when she had a poem she wrote published in The Saturday Evening Post. She has written for various magazines and newspapers and published her first book, "It's Raining Cats and Dogs" five years ago. An animal advocate, her love for them comes through in the stories in this book. As a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas College and a previous elementary school teacher, she has developed her writing ability throughout the years. While working as Public Relations Director for the American Red Cross, United Way and Planned Parenthood, she further honed her
writing skills which she has incorporated in this book.
