Dr K B Jhala completed his B.Tech (Agril. Engg) from Udaipur, M.Tech from GB Pant University, Pantnagar and PhD from MPUAT, Udaipur. Working as Associate Professor since 2009 at Dept. of FMPE, CAET, JAU, Junagadh. Under his guidance 7 M.Tech and 20 B.Tech projects are completed.He headed the Zonal Vehicle repairing workshop of the University.
This book having testing and evaluation of Rotavator, as Rotavator is a tillage machine designed for preparing land suitable for sowing seed (without overturning of the soil), for eradicating weeds, mixing manure or fertilizer into soil, to break up and remove pastures for crushing clods etc. Rotavator is the better implement which does the operation like tillage, pulverizing and leveling of land at a time. Hence, the study was conducted to evaluate rotavator in terms of working width, depth of cut, fuel consumption, wheel slip, theoretical field capacity, effective field capacity, field efficiency and properties like soil moisture content, bulk density, cone index and infiltration rate were determined. Also the survey on rotavators in Mendarda taluka was conducted to study the status of rotavators in terms of number of rotavators, year of purchase, acreage of use etc.

Der Autor erwarb 1986 den B. E. (Agril. Engg.) an der M. S. University, Udaipur, Rajasthan. Er erwarb 1994 den M. Tech (Landmaschinen) an der G. B. P. U. A. T. Pantnagar, U. P.. Er promovierte 2006 an der M. P. U. A. T., Udaipur, Rajasthan, in Landmaschinen und Energietechnik. Er arbeitet als außerordentlicher Professor an der Junagadh Agricultural University.
