Produktbeschreibung

Autor/Autorin: Goolcharan John

John graduated at the top of university classes, obtaining both BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering. At FIU, John participated in diverse research projects. Including CFD analysis, the development of a portable renewable energy generation system, assisting in the development carbon nanotube infused metals, and a non-specific toxicity sensor.
In fluid systems, drag can be defined as fluid friction. This is undesirable in several instances as it reduces the efficiency of the fluid systems. Over the years, there were many attempts to reduce drag. This book looks at some of the previous attempts of reducing drag in systems, as well as taking a deep dive into microbubble drag reduction (MBDR). Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis is used to observe the behavior of MDBR effectiveness over a flat plate, by varying fluid properties including, density, velocity, and many more.
