Autor/Autorin: Wongsathan Rati
Rati Wongsathan was born in Lamphun. He successfully completed three degrees: B. Eng. (Hons.) and M. Eng. (Electrical Engineering), and M. Sc. (Applied Mathematics) at Chiangmai University, Thailand. As a scholar, he continued for pursuing a Ph. D. at KMITL, Bangkok Thailand. His research includes AI controllers and Channels model and equalization.
Beyond the conventional design, the AI-based MPPT-controllers, i.e., neural network, fuzzy logic, and neuro-fuzzy, derived by the MOGA optimization for the standalone and grid-connected PV powered system have been described in step-by-step in this book. This may be a new idea to optimize the performances of the controllers and simultaneously to maximize the overall system efficiency of the PV system applications.
