Emulsions, biphasic liquid preparations having two immiscible liquids, which cannot be dispersed for a long period, are tremendously used as pharmaceutical preparations. This text book "Recent in Emulsion- A Review” comprises of the general introduction, role of different emulsifying agents, basic principal and concepts underlying the emulsion technology. The authors have made an attempt to include various determination methods regarding the evaluation and the major concern of stability. The demand and need of the newer invention to improve the technology with respect to the stability has also been discussed. The recent advancements of emulsion technology as development of multiple emulsions, micro emulsions, nanoemulsions and liposome emulsion have also been emphasized in this book. An attempt is made to cover the marketed preparation in India as well as international market with various patented formulations. The book may be beneficial for the pharmacy professional, students and research scholars for thorough knowledge, basics and updatation in the area till date.
