This translation of this book into Danish is by Else Heise. She was a Danish translator employed at the publishing house Gyldendal. She translated many books. She is especially known for creating the Danish names for Peter Plys and his friends.
Else Heise was born on May 12, 1892 at Bregentved near Haslev in South Zealand, Denmark. She died in 1962.
