Dr. Wai Khuen Cheng received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2008. He is currently the Assistant Professor and Deputy Dean of Academic for the Faculty of ICT, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. His research interests include business intelligence, cloud computing, multi-agent systems and social networking.
This book draws new attention to business intelligence by presenting a comprehensive and reliable enterprise maturity model through the systematic and methodical design. In the era of data explosion, organizations highly focus on the systematic management of business information. Various business intelligence models exist for this purpose but the reliability of those models is questionable due to less focus on technical aspects. The authors presents an Enterprise Business Intelligence Maturity (EBIM) model and assess relevant problems with Delphi technique. Three dimensions namely process, technology and organization were considered in the EBIM model development. The works presented here will benefit experts and practitioners from academia and industry alike.
