Terrain Analysis is very important process through which we can minimize the adverse effect on environment, ecology and landscape resulting from the human activities. Terrain Analysis can also contribute enormously in the sustainable development. Fifty percent of the population of the world is dependent as well as engaged in agriculture. This is why it is utmost important to conserve the soil and there should be reliable and effective land use planning. So that, we can feed so many mouths and can provide jobs for so many hands. The land, which is one of the most useful natural resources, is shrinking day by day due to unending demand for different purposes like expansion of industrialization, haphazard urbanization and infrastructural facilities needed for uncontrolled and unchecked population growth specifically in third world countries.
