Uganda is known as the most entrepreneurial country in the world. This is so because many graduates are not able to find employment and the uneducated are majorly employed in the agricultural sector. The high levels of unemployment have forced many youth and women to engage in enterprise. The common challenge faced by the Small and medium enterprises developed is death before the 3rd birthday of the businesses. To break this glass ceiling, many enterprises in need of funds to scale their businesses are faced with a number of challenges. This book explores the factors affecting access to finance these entrepreneurs with a case study being traders in Kampala City.
