Pankaj Kumar Meghwal, Ph. D. Scholar: He has completed his graduation from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri (Maharashtra) in 2014. He did his M. Sc. in Agricultural Extension at Central Agricultural University, Imphal (Manipur) in 2016. Thereafter, he got Senior Research Fellowship from Indian Council of Agricultural Research for his Ph. D.
Agriculture is a profession of energetically attachment of nature and environment. Among the different disciplines of agricultural fields, Agricultural Extension is one of the best discipline for providing better linkage between researchers, farmers and other relevant stakeholders of agricultural fields. The contents of the book are arranged in seven chapters to have better comprehension. I feel the book will be greatly accepted by readers and will be very helpfull for understanding about Socio-Economic Impact of climate change, stakeholder analysis with respect to power, interest and legitimacy and farmers' decision-making ability with respect to adoption of mitigation and adaptation of climate change practices in agriculture. Key stakeholders should be identified by any Government/Private agencies before introducing any new program. On the basis of Power, Interest and Legitimacy stakeholders should be given task related to Climate Change in agriculture. Appropriate information based on level of knowledge and based on felt needs of identified farmers for on climate change mitigation and adaptation practices should be provided by Knowledge Management Portal on real & correct time.
