It's a beautiful snowy day and Pip and Posy can't wait to go out and play. They have all sorts of fun, until they decide to build a snowman. Pip wants to build a snowRABBIT, but Posy wants a snowMOUSE! An argument erupts but happily the friends resolve their differences over a cosy craft session indoors.
Axel Scheffler, geboren 1957 in Hamburg, Grafikstudium an der Bath Acadamy of Art in England, lebt als Illustrator mit seiner Familie in London. Er veröffentlichte zahlreiche Buchillustrationen, hauptsächlich für Kinder, zeichnet aber auch für Zeitungen und Zeitschriften und gehört heute zu den national und international bedeutendstem Kinderbuchillustratoren.

Axel was born in Hamburg, Germany and he moved to England in 1982 to learn English and study illustration at the Bath Academy of Art. Axel has illustrated a number of books for various publishers, most famously, The Gruffalo, which has sold millions of copies worldwide and turned into a TV animation. He has written and illustrated several books since The Gruffalo has been published including the Pip and Posy series and Flip-Flap Farm, and his work has been translated into 42 languages. Axel lives in London with his partner and young daughter.
